A long time ago, I bought a game my once-friend recommended to me on a whim. It was titled Dragon Age: Origins, and I heard things about the characters that were too good to be true. From how he spoke about the characters, they seemed like real people, not a mash of code and pixels, and the fact that there were bisexual romance options in a game created in 2009? Unbelievable.
I was in for a delightful surprise. P.S to Mr. B: I am writing this at 1 AM on 5/20/2020, don't know why Weebly thinks it's still the 19th.

I chose the absolute worst time of the year, no, worst time of the decade to open up commissions and start professionally taking them as an artist. Yes, you heard it folks: I opened up commissions while in quarantine.
Here's my experience doing it. No school until further notice? Sounds great, right?
I get to sleep on my own schedule, work at my own pace, and not have to deal with the hell show of commute. This quarantine is going to well, surely. Wrong. I was dead wrong, and so was everyone else who thought this quarantine was going to be smooth sailing. With school cancelled and the Coronavirus quarantine in full swing, I've decided to take the opportunity from school and academics and even DND to focus on some of my other hobbies. Is it drawing, you ask? No, I already do enough of that on my own. Is it writing? No, I haven't wrote a decent thing since last summer where I wrote crappy fanfic of my DND characters. Is it working on that secret project you've been meaning to work on since forever? Absolutely not.
Is it building a totally unnecessary but still cool garden? Hell to the yes. This is the first visual novel I've ever written about on this blog, and I'm determined to do it justice. Butterfly Soup is a visual, almost slice-of-life visual novel centered around four girls: Diya, Min-seo, Akarsha, and Noelle, and the romance that blossoms between the two pairs, mainly Diya and Min.
It's a wonderfully sweet and gay visual novel that I've ever had the privilege of reading, To those who browse the glorious (or toxic) threads of Reddit and are also into the fabulous hit game of Dungeons and Dragons, you may have seen a certain picture on the subreddit r/DND. It was a glorious ration board, with delicate meats, cheeses, nuts, fruits, and homemade artisan bread...
After the rave that started due to Pokemon X/Y, many Pokemon fans were excited for the next pair of games. Though Pokemon Moon released over four years ago, and Pokemon Ultra Moon a year later, a lot of people (myself included) revisit the game even in 2020. But many people will ask... what's the difference between the two games? New content? Never seen before Pokemon? Is it worth spending an extra $30+ to get Ultra Moon (or even Ultra Sun?) In this article, I'll discuss what's new and exciting and my own opinions about the games.
It's 7 pm. Trent and I, giddy from our travels throughout Southpoint Mall, settle into our cushy seats at the AMC Movie Theatre, parched after discovering bottled water was 5$ and the line for popcorn was even more bustling. We buckled in for the worst movie of 2019, just before 2020 hit, and was met with a show that tested even the strong bond of our relationship.
My loving boyfriend, Trent, was an avid player of Terraria. Over 2,000 hours logged into the game, exploring every nook and cranny while achieving the best items, defeating the most difficult bosses, and most importantly, getting the 'chieves. My friends, avid epic gamers, were right behind him, whilst I, and other friends in our little troop who weren't as epic as they were, were new to the 2D platform world eerily similar to the Minecraft I grew up with.
Once I bought the game for 15$, too impatient to wait for a sale, I installed the game, played it for a bit and was amazed. Freshman year was stressful; I was new to the intricacies of highschool, had no friend group to belong to, and had to deal with the entirely new workload of an AP class and DDA I. Sophomore year was and is stressful in different ways-- I thought I was used to the workload, and was confident in my friend group. But I was totally swept off my feet.
