Just this Saturday evening, a day after the official Detective Pikachu was released, my friends and I went to go watch the movie, amid conversation and teenage mischief. I was prepared to see this movie, as I had grown up playing Pokemon my entire life, so I was really excited to see them in full CGI, 3D graphics.
It was totally worth every penny. Here in this post, I'll do an in depth review of the movie, what worked and what didn't. Warning: There are spoilers, so if you're gonna see this movie anytime soon, better not click the read more tab!

Minecraft is undoubtedly, one of the most influential games of the 21st century. I can vividly remember when the game came out and when it exploded in popularity-- I begged my father to buy me my own account, and my first adventure into the game involved hiding in my crappy dirt house because I was afraid of zombies and skeletons. (This was before I discovered Peaceful mode.)
Now, it is unfortunately seen as a 'cringy' game, for children who won't stop whining about their diamond block house. I think this is really unfortunate, because Minecraft is truly a beautiful game. Even after all these years, I still come back to play it now and again on my crappy laptop. It's come to my attention that I've done my favorite game of the century a great dishonesty by not reviewing it. So I'll rectify this mistake below! (And tell a few of my adventures too.) |
